 Lines and angles

Lines :

A point is traveling I'm both directions infinity called a line.line has no end point and initial point.

Line segment

A part of line is called line segment. A line segment can have both end point and initial point.

         P________________Q

Ray

A ray is a line which originates from a point.a ray have initial point but dies not have any end point.

Here the line have initial point P and Q as non terminating direction.

Angles

Two rays originates from same point and travel in different direction called angle.two rays joining in same point called angle.

Lines and angles

Here O is called vertex and OA and OB rays are called arms.
The angles are can be different types according to measurement of angles

Types of angles

  1. Acute angle
  2. Obtuse angles
  3. Right angle
  4. Straight angle
  5. Reflex angle
  6. Complete angle

Acute angle

An angle is greater than 0° And less than 90° called Acute angle.

Here the `\angle AOB=30°` Hence it Acute angle.

Right angle

An angle is equal to 90° is called right angle.
Here `angle AOB=90°` Therefore it is right angle.

Obtuse angle

The angle is greater than 90°And less than 180° called Obtuse angle.

Here `\angle AOB=150°` which is greater than 90° and less than 180°.hence it is obtuse angle.

Straight angle

The equal to 180° is Straight angle.

Here `\angle AOB=180°` it is Straight angle.

Reflex angle

The angle greater than 180° and less than 360° called Reflex angle.
Here the `\angle AOB=250°`THEREFORE IT IS REFLEX ANGLE.

Complete angle

The angle is equal to 360° called Complete angle. OR A circle.
Here the `\angle=360°` COMPLETE ANGLE .
Angles can observed in every were we can see geometry figures such as tables, rings room, any things that having shapes and angles.
Polygons with different shape have angles, such as square ,rectangles, pentagon, hexagon etc.
